We update the site on a very loose schedule. Normally, when we sit down to do any work on web pages, it's usually on the pages we're being paid to do and not on these ...... and those will be for baconeggs.com, our web design company. But we do try !

Our Gallery is mainly aimed at our friends and family to see what we have been up to but even if you don't fall into that category, you're welcome to have a look around.

As you will see if you look at our Gallery area, we have bought a house in Spain in 2007 which is consuming a lot of our time, and money, now that we have retired. But well worth it!

We go over as often as possible and, though it wasn't in too bad a state when we bought it, we've made quite a few changes to it. And we now have the strange experience of spending our holidays cleaning, painting and shopping for furniture and other 'house stuff'.

What's New (updated 6th June 2009)

We seem to be settling into a nice routine now. A few weeks in England, then a few weeks in Spain. Though this last trip in May would have been especially difficult to return from had it not been for Stuart's decision to try out the Spanish National Health Service. And, incidentally, excellent they were too. Fortunately it turned out to be not too serious a problem (a small thrombosis) but meant that a return to UK for treatment was needed. It could have been done in Spain but, when all's said and done, we've paid our taxes in the UK so they can sort it out!

So the gallery has been updated from our trip and you'll be able to see why we didn't want to leave. Even though we brought backa bit of summer weather with us, it didn't last of course. And the only flaming thing about June were the flames as the central heating was switched back on. Apparantly it got up to 38° this week in Spain. Damn.

You'll find a variety of things here. From some musings about life in general, to some photos of things we have been doing and place we've been.
