| Manchester Pride 2005 is the celebration of gay, lesbian and trans life in the 21st century. Intended to show the diversity of people in that community from the flamboyant and camp through to the, well I suppose you could say ordinary because many of us are. Soldiers and airmen, council workers and bankers, you name it, we were here at Pride 2005 A movie with highlights from the parade is available for Broadband users (12Mb) and for dial-up modem users (1.2Mb) |

| The first lorry load of buffed up bodies and barely clothed boys | What a difference a gay makes ... and so say all of us | The Royal Air Force appeared again followed by a small contingent from the Army making their first appearance at any gay pride. We still are waiting for the sailors ! |

| And a most colourful, and deserved, rest | I'm dreaming of a Beary Christmas .. says it all really | An ever increasing number of Manchester's finest march in the parade, and in uniform, as well as marshall it. What a change since the days of the infamous and 'holier than thou' Chief Constable Anderton, may he soon rest in peace |
